Difference Between Virus, Worms, Trojan and Spyware

      Well Many of us Heard or have Seen that Virus Detected, Trojan Detected, Worm & Spyware...Etc
Some of us may be knowing the difference between all these Computer Harming Programs...
some may not in this post I will tell u what are these concept, their range, their effects any much more Read it

Let Us began with the common i.e. VIRUS


  1)
 VIRUS - A virus is a self replicating program which gets stick on its own to an (.exe) executable file. When  that same file is run or opened the virus automatically gets started & enters into system memory .Once it enters into system it searches for other files that can be infected or stays hidden & infect the files & show it great effect after sometime. Its common & is found in nearly all computers & other devices it makes the computer sick in easy terms...!!

1 - Is it Virus Transferable? It can transfer on its own? -
 YES.
2 - Can Virus harm other files? Important files can be harmed? -
 YES THEY MIGHT BE AFFECTED
3 - Can know if it Exist in the computer? -
 YES, sometimes some programs go wrong we can say that due to
      virus, Pen-drive's are not allowed to remove safely by computer itself Cause VIRUS.
4 - Do virus stick to other files? -
 YES, This attachment happens when file's from pen drive, CD or other things
      are been copied or Moved
5 - Do it search for File's on its own that it can harm? YES.
6 - Can come from Internet? From Pen drives, CD ?
 YES.
7 - Do they multiply? -
 YES

ILOVEYOU Virus, Melissa, CIH (a.k.a. Chernobyl), Solar Sunrise,  Barrotes,  Morris (a.k.a. Internet Worm),  Jerusalem, Black Deader, Black Jack...

  2)
 WORMS - Worms are almost similar to viruses but it differs in ways They don't joined themselves to exe files instead to duplicate themselves they uses the network. If you find excessive use of your network bandwidth then you may be infected by a worm. So worms do not require a user to exe any file for its execution it can work without user action.

  3) TROJAN HORSE -
 This program work same as Trojan horse (attack strategy - Google it to know more). A Trojan horse is harmful program which may seem harmless to the user before its attack or installation but instead it is programmed or reverse engineered to facilitate unauthorized remote access to the computer. Trojan’s do not replicate them self

 After sometime it comes to know that Trojan is there
4 - Do stick to other files? - NO

6 - Can come from Internet? From Pen drives, CD ? YES.
7 - Do they Multiply? -  NO some may multiply some may not.

Still Trojan is more harmful than viruses. We will give u more info about trojan later on

  4) SPYWARE - According to its name this virus act as a spy A spyware is a program that secretly monitors & collects pieces of information. They usually run in health or stealth mode & cannot be detected easily. Key loggers is a great example of spyware software. There are not limited to just spying but can also send data to remote computers.

These are not easily found in someone's computer, used in companies for rivals etc...
