Mobile Phones was a great Discovery in the history of Gadgets but now a days due to increasing feature's and new development. Mobile cannot support more things in it. To be handy and can be taken anywhere Tablet (TAB) is needed. Its a awesome gadget with many feature.
But purchasing a TAB also needs a lot of money. But Yesterday only i.e is 5th October 2011. India launches the world cheapest TAB. It is been launched under the Government of India & not by any private company.
It main aim is to take place of book and other note's which are necessary in day to day life's of a student.

As there is no locker facility available for students in India they have to daily carry books in the schools/colleges. So a great development and a great invention has bought this revolution in the history of India.
It is till now the worlds cheapest TAB.

As it is launched for students in India its is less for Them.
Still the product is in test and is been given to some University Students for finding out it limitation.

1) It was designed and developed by DataWind, the London-based company along with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). It was promoted as 'Sakshat' earlier,
but later re-branded as 'Aakash'
2) The Indian government has planned to buy 8 million to 10 million units of 'Aakash' by March 31, 2012.
Currently it is being manufactured by Datawind- A Canadian Firm. About 100,000 tablets would be given out to students over the next year. Presently the company is producing 700 tablets daily at its Hyderabad facility and is expected to increase its capacity to 100000 units per month. Datawind has set up Hyderabad manufacturing facility only for Aakash.
3) The first order of 100,000 units of the tablet PC will be rolled out from a factory  Hyderabad over the next six weeks.
4) Very Soon, other companies will also be allowed to manufacture the tablet independently as there would be no licensing restrictions.
5) The TAB will be connected to a Hub in the class room where all student will be connected to the main teaches hub for day to day new lessons, note's, notices, etc...there a lot use of this tab
   That's it first it will be given to University Students/College students then to school students..
