The Reliance Digital Experience
As a blogger I was been invited to visit the Reliance Digital Store and experience the change they have created for Digital Market. I was very much excited to check out where Reliance is taking us to a more advance digital era. As you may know or some people may not Reliance is one of the biggest public company in India and is the same company which bought a revolution in mobile phones and the first company to introduce mobile phones at a very low rates in India. And from then onwards all other companies saw the huge progress made by Reliance and enter the Indian market as opening more option for customers and increase competition so on.
My Excitement turned out to be a Problem:
Well I was so excited that I forgot to change the calendar in that excitement. And I was called on 8th, 9th of June. And on the calendar I don’t know which month it was it showed 9th on Monday so I decided to go on Monday. I was just about to miss my opportunity luckily I saw the date on my mobile phone and just got shocked and verified it and came to the conclusion today (i.e. on Sunday) is the last day and only few hours been left for closing of the store. I was late and was bit more worried that would I be able to reach in time. The main important thing was Reliance Digital stores are been situated properly throughout the city. And that turned out to be useful for me. I choose the store which was near from the place I am residing. It took me 45 min to reach the destination station and that too in the Mumbai’s Local train and for worst things to happen it was raining heavily. Yeah and it was Sunday so the trains frequency was also less and a big queue in front of the ticket counter. I was in a lot of frustration and cursed the railways for giving less importance to services on Sundays. Things were even worst when I reach the destination station. Rain has not shown any pity on me and was showering me even my umbrella was of no use at that time. I have to reach R-city mall located on LBS Marg (name of the road) . Which mode of transport was a local bus or auto rickshaw. I cant wait for the bus so rickshaws was easily available that was the worst thing & he charged me double the normal rates due to rains have flooded the roads. Left with no other option I had to take the rickshaw as short of time.
Sailing throughout the Seas and finally reaching my destination:
Well the store it is located on 1st floor north side. In simple terms on the right hand side when you enter through the main entrance of the mall. And security checks and all I finally stepped in the store It was beautiful with simple decoration on the entrance. There after meet the manager at the customer help desk. And registered my name there. And it was all clear that I was the last one to reach there. Thankfully the store timing was from 11am to 8pm. And I reached here till 6 or 6.15 I think.
The True Experience starts:
The store manager appointed a person with me to show the feature of the store his name was Vishal Mule who was sitting on the help desk doing some work. And then I was like am I interrupting his work and reached here at a wrong time. But on seeing his face I can’t see the anger or any sign at all in fact he was happy to be my guide. And we started again from the entrance. The thing which he told me was that they believe in customer education and keep customers their top priorities. Which I also agreed because the Indian customers are a bit old type and have less knowledge about the modern new computer things. Such as what is RAM, what is called as processing power, the in build memory, external memory, HD quality and etc…. What they did is whenever someone came in the store all where been appointed with a help person who can help them. And that’s one of the things which I like. I can see the difference when I visited other store they never helped any one whatever you are you are on your own. If you like want some information about the product or gadget, the discount prize or anything you have to go to the counter. And wait until your turn comes. Kind of like saving money by reducing the working staff and giving less quality service.
Educating Customers:
He told me that we educate customer. But I was like how, in what manner. Then he showed me with a very good example of laptops. They have classified the laptops as per usage and in simple terms like business, students and entertainment. Where business laptops were with a high processing power, high storage and etc, where students laptops were with good processing power and proper amount of storage and etc, where entertainment laptops with good processing power, high amount of storage . So in way as per your requirements you can buy things. These things goes with all like digital televisions, digital speakers, digital cameras and all the things available there. So whenever you walk-in the store you are sure that you will be out with good knowledge at least.
Demo Time:
The major factor that I loved the digital store is that they gave me demo for everything from laptops, earphones, cameras, speakers etc…. They have a big glass room type room which are totally sound proof which they call it as
Time to Leave:
Truly the Reliance Digital Experience was Awesome and I wish you all should try visiting there.
All of the fact I complained so much about this city. I still love the way it is and anything can happen here…
